We warned you we were competetive...

Let me introduce you to one of the more
memorable
events of the Boise Reception.

this is what happens when the oldest and fattest brother still wants to prove he's taller than the youngest.
you end up breaking other peoples valued possessions.
idiots

we really are SO sorry
All Kyle and I heard about for the next couple weeks was how bad and dumb Chase felt

* Notice the redness in Chase and Quin's faces *

Welcome... the Ficklin Family 2009

Sneek Peek

I've taken a lot of pictures lately...
so here are some of my favorite...

enjoy because I have ZERO idea when I'm going
to have enough time to actually put all the ones I want to on...

I'm pretty sure it bugged her that I kept taking pictures,
but this one is SO good...
I think at least

i REALLY love this picture

my wildflower boquet

We Came, We Saw, We Scootered

My dear sweet husband and I recently had the absolute
pleasure
of "borrowing" Ryan's scooter and
taking for a cruise around the town.
Since then, I ride it whenever I can...
Kyle takes it to work...
and I'm trying to get him to buy one...
wish me luck

I crave it, we love it, we want it
isn't this life just the greatest?!

Memorable Quote #1

I desperately wish I could remember the exact wording...but it went something like this...

Kyle: "Hailey, don't make me give you a
certificate of stupid-id-ness."

Silence.

Kyle: "Wait...is that the right word?"

Laughter. Uncontrolled. Perfection.

oh, how I love my husband :)

i am excited for yellowstone

It really is quite wonderful

As of Late:

We...

borrowed a scooter
filled the house with smoke and set off the fire alarm... twice
got massages
went to the driving range
ate a whole pizza in about 10 min
drove Nebo loop
made a bouquet of wildflowers
contemplated skinny-dipping
carved our initials into a tree
appreciated God's beautiful earth
had a dinner party
played Canasta (more like KILLED at canasta)
kissed

had a sunset picnic
played bocce ball
played ultimate frisbee
pretty much just enjoyed the best life ever
:)

A good time, I think

So... I know this is a little late, but here's a little update on what we did on the 4th.

I've never really seen good fireworks...I mean I did when I was little, but I don't remember them, so...
Kyle and I
decided to watch the stadium of fire
fireworks.
Which apparently weren't that great (according to Kyle)
but I loved them!
So here are pics from the night
:)

We played UNO while we waited for the show to start..

notice the sweet sunburn...
It blistered.
Ouch.
(Heidi promised me that she would give
me some miracle cream called
{ SUNSCREEN }
when we got to Lewiston)
All in All
it was a really good day.

Happy Freedom Day

:)

I've decided that I'm going to
cultivate one of my "talents".

I painted this last night.
It's the first of a couple paintings
I'm doing for our family room.
Like one big picture
but on three different canvas's.

I'm excited.
